Credit Card Security

Credit card security is a high priority to us. We use secure socket layers (SSL), a sophisticated encryption technology that can only be decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. All our customers details and payment information is kept safe and secure. All our servers are protected by several hardware firewalls and our payment pages are protected by a 128bit secure server.

Rumah London online store is a secure shopping cart system as it's protected by a 128bit SSL Secure Server which means that all credit card transactions are completely safe and encrypted.

You know when you're on a secure server as you can see the padlock icon in the bottom right of your browser, if you do not see a padlock then it means the site isn't secure.

Data Collection & Privacy Policy

Personal data collected from you is stored in a safe and secure environment. Rumah Limited do not disclose information to third parties. Cookies are used to keep track of your shopping basket once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store details if you register as a customer.

Deliveries

Most orders are processed within 24 hours of receiving the order, however we do ask you to allow 2 to 5 working days for orders to arrive to you upon final destination. All deliveries within the UK, EU Countries and Non-EU countries are dispatched through the Royal Mail Special Delivery which are registered with tracking numbers and require a signature for release. Once delivery has been dispatched the tracking number will be emailed to the customer to monitor the progress.

Duties & Taxes 

Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods on all packages destined outside the European Union, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.

Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you have paid import duty for goods received, and subsequently return the goods to us, it should be possible for you to claim a refund of duties from your local Customs authority. To do this, you will need to show them proof of duty paid and proof of export (e.g. certificate of posting) when claiming your refund. Should you have any further queries on duties payable/refundable, please contact your local customs authority.

Returns & Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your purchase of goods by notifying Rumah Ltd by email: shop@rumahlondon.com within 24 hours of your order being placed. In such cases a full refund will be made to the purchaser's Credit / Debit Card.

You may cancel your purchase of goods within 7 days of receipt of goods by notifying Rumah Ltd by email shop@rumahlondon.com You must then return the goods to Rumah Ltd at your expense. The returned merchandise must be in new, unused, and unworn condition with product tags still attached.  Note: if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods Rumah Ltd reserve the right not to accept their return. Rumah Ltd will refund your purchase price or provide a credit note to you in full within 30 days of the receipt of your returned goods. Please note proof of postage is not proof of delivery: You should return faulty goods directly to us immediately upon receipt.
